Pulits Lap 2018

June 15th 2018, we will embark on #PulitsLap
Let me introduce the whole thing to you.

Myself Aidan Mc Nally & my great friend Keith Costello wanted to remember our friend in common Mr. Paul (Pulit) Carroll and so last year 2017 Keith headed off on his motorbike to tackle the icy conditions of Ireland and complete a full lap of our beautiful island of Ireland.
How better to remember our dear friend Paul but to name the LAP after him. This year 2018 the motorbikes this time not just Keith on his own, this year more volunteers are going to join in on what is more than likely Ireland's LARGEST motorbike rally and will take part over a full weekend in June. Keith Costello has held the title of all Ireland motorcycle champion in 2011 & 2012 and so he is no stranger to the roads and #motorbikes not only here in Ireland but Keith has travelled extensively and toured many the great treks of Europe also.
In road racing Keith was an absolute gentleman to all except when it was race time which meant get out there and win, the gentleman stuff will have to hold for a few laps. Not only did Keith win here in Ireland as a champion two years running but he also mastered the isle of Mann and achieved a great podium finish back in his season in 2007

I, Aidan do not have such wonderful achievements in the motorcycle world as those of Keith's. I am a man who authored his life story to bring about some awareness of maybe how one day it can all turn to crap basically. Even though the road has been winding, sometimes wonderful and sometimes horrible, I live on. For me this has been my biggest achievement, you may have read my memoir it is titled, TWO sons TOO many and is available on Amazon, this will give you a full heads up about me as it is a life story, a true story.
My passion to raise funds through a charitable event are because my son Darra died at a young age and it was "sudden adult death" that struck him at only 15 years of age. Obviously such a devastating shock has not been easy but again it is the memories that keep me going.
Keith Costello was like "uncle buck" when Darra came to visit and we did all look forward to sharing in his wonderful life. We never knew it would be cut so short.

The foundation of CRY IRELAND work tirelessly to assist in the research and support to families who have been affected by such "sudden death" situations and are always trying to find new ways to combat this horrible tragedy that can strike any of us at any time.
We never know and I personally can tell you I never imagined I would lose my son to death at only 15.
This June the riders will take on the great tour of Ireland and complete #Pulitslap in honour of a great cause.
We understand that making a donation is not always easy and ask that you give a little to help our event and cause along.
