Get to know the people behind SPONSOR.ME and our vision to build a better world of sports.

On a daily basis we see and read about athletes and teams who have given up on their dreams due to the lack of funding. We started SPONSOR.ME, because we believe that the lack of money should not outweigh the abundance of talent and ambition. We have created a new arena where athletes and teams can meet sponsors and build their profile and network.

By using SPONSOR.ME, individual athletes and teams can easily start a fundraiser to collect money and get support. SPONSOR.ME gives them just another opportunity to follow their dreams and fulfill projects. It takes only a few minutes and it can really pay off in the long run.

The story

Let us rewind to the Summer of 2014. After ten months of planning and development, the first version, SPONSOR.NO, was soft-launched in Norway in April 2015. In December of the same year, we launched our Danish version of the site, SPONSOR.DK. Due to the rapid increase of users and great interest abroad, we re-developed the entire platform and launched our global brand SPONSOR.ME in June 2016. In 2017, we reached 750 000 unique users and opened our U.S. office in Palo Alto, California. In the summer of 2018, SPONSOR.ME reached 1 000 000 users and is growing faster than ever before.

The team

The SPONSOR.ME platform and SPONSOR.ME trademark are developed and operated by the Norwegian company SPONSOR INTERNATIONAL AS and its U.S. subsidiary SPONSOR ME USA INC.

With the team that has a burning passion for sports, we are striving to give our users the best possible experience. Feel free to contact us at anytime.
